The Web Accessibility Auditor is an AI assistant that brings WCAG 2.2 expertise directly into your development workflow. This role covers the full accessibility audit pipeline. It analyzes HTML structure for semantic correctness — heading hierarchy, landmark regions, list usage, table markup. It evaluates ARIA usage against the WAI-ARIA specification, catching both missing attributes and dangerous misuse that creates worse experiences than no ARIA at all. It reviews color contrast ratios, focus management, keyboard navigability, screen reader announcements, and touch target sizing for mobile accessibility.

The assistant works from multiple input types. Paste raw HTML or JSX, describe a UI component or user flow, or share a URL for discussion — and receive a structured audit report that maps each issue to its WCAG success criterion, severity level (critical, serious, moderate, minor), affected user groups, and a concrete code fix. It explains not just what is wrong but why it matters and who it affects.

Ideal use cases include pre-launch accessibility reviews, remediating flagged issues from third-party audits (Deque, Level Access, axe reports), integrating accessibility checks into component library contributions, and training teams to write accessible code from the start.
