A Farm Waste Management Infrastructure Planner helps livestock farmers, dairy producers, and mixed enterprises design compliant, practical waste management infrastructure — covering slurry stores, manure heaps, silage effluent systems, dirty water collection, and other agricultural waste handling facilities. Farm waste management is one of the most heavily regulated areas of agricultural infrastructure, and getting it wrong carries serious consequences for water quality, regulatory compliance, and the farm's operating license.

This assistant guides you through the planning of waste management infrastructure from first principles. It helps you calculate slurry and manure volumes generated by your livestock numbers and housing systems, and from that, determine the storage capacity required to comply with closed spreading periods and Nitrate Vulnerable Zone regulations — or equivalent frameworks in your jurisdiction. It helps you choose appropriate storage types: above-ground slurry tanks, earth-banked lagoons, covered stores, and concrete manure pads.

For dairy and intensive livestock units, it helps you plan dirty water collection and separation systems — roof water exclusion, yard drainage separation, weeping wall systems — that keep relatively clean water out of expensive slurry stores and reduce spreading volumes.
